You will not believe it unless and until it happens to you. They may be "professionals" but they are also human, as are we. It has not happened to me, but as others relate here I have made some very good connections with SWs, to the point that I would really enjoy their company even if no sex was involved. Respecting and treating people well often (but not always) pays off.

I think if love happens the only only way it will work is if you both accept being polyamorous. Or, and I do not know if there is a word for this, you accept a situation where both partners are committed to each over emotionally but not sexually. I have only heard of one case where a client persuaded an SW to leave the business and it worked out for both of them. In that case he agreed to pay for her to advance her education and she trained to do different work.

I have experienced that I could fall in love with a girl hanging around me while having an actual girlfriend, so even in the strict definition of polyamouous, actually being in love multiple times & not just fucking multple partners, I am certain we have that capacity.

I have even fucked two different girls, for both of whom I had genuine emotional connection.

If you are a frequent client, emotionally available & of course physically intimate, it would be surprising if there were NOT a few who developed feelings. Most clients, lets face it, are not that amazing company.

I think it comes down to how many boxes are checked off and in what order of importance to you. That's how someone finds their gem.
