Woman admits her Southfield massage business provided sexual services for 10 years, police say - WDIV ClickOnDetroit

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A woman is facing charges after authorities discovered that her Southfield massage business had been providing sexual services to clients for a decade, officials announced.

Rhonda Hahn, 61, of Southfield, has been issued the state charges of prostitution/accepting earnings, engaging in a human trafficking enterprise causing injury and/or resulting in commercial sexual activity, and keeping a house of prostitution.

In addition to those state charges, she faces a local charge of having no massage establishment license.

She was given a $1,500 bond for the state charges and a $500 bond for the local charge.

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, Southfield Police and detectives with SEMTEC (the FBI’s Southeast Michigan Trafficking and Exploitation Crimes Task Force) executed a search warrant at Hahn’s massage business, Pressure Point Massage Therapy, at 17670 W. 12 Mile Road.

When the search warrant was conducted, Hahn was allegedly in the process of giving a client, identified as a Bloomfield Hills man, a massage, Southfield Police Chief Elvin Barren announced during a press conference on Monday.

He told detectives that Hahn gave him a back massage while he was nude and then began touching his genitals.

The client told authorities that she stopped the moment they began searching the business.

An investigation revealed that payment was discussed before the massage, and they had agreed on a cost of $60 for 30 minutes or $80 for 60 minutes.

The client told detectives that he didn’t know about these services and that Hahn just started moving toward those actions. The chief doesn’t believe that but said there isn’t evidence for a case against him.

Detectives also interviewed a female employee who was at the business when they searched it.

She told authorities that she was a receptionist and denied providing sexual services to clients, but the investigation revealed that she had an active social media profile that advertised those services.

They discovered that she had just under $1,000 cash on her, and seized that, along with a cellphone.

The receptionist hasn’t been charged at this time, Barren said.

When authorities searched Hahn’s home, they found massage beds, tables, robes and towels which leads them to believe she also provided these illicit services at her home.

Hahn has been in the massage industry for over 25 years and during an interview she told investigators that her business started performing sexual acts on clients about 10 years ago.

She was licensed by the state, but her license to operate a business in the city of Southfield had expired. Pressure Point Massage Therapy has been shut down.

Hahn is expected to appear in court again on March 31.

The investigation is ongoing.
