What if you don't have a driver's license? What forms of ID are accepted for providing your Legal Names? Driver's license, Passport, Birth Certificate? Some places take Health Cards,but other's don't.

It wreaks of an invasion of privacy to me and I never let restaurant keep the old carbon copy of my credit card slip I'm not about to give someone my driver's license or any other personal information.

Thats because they already do that sometimes Kayla, just like they do at the strip clubs and bars, etc.

I deleted all the comments prior to kayla's statement because it was very misleading the way the discussion was going. I wanted Kayla to have an opportunity to respond right away before anyone went off on the war path.

For those that are paranoid about showing their DL's to the lass at the door, just read out the numbers like Paul mentioned. We are nearly all dyslexic anyways, so who cares if a couple of numbers here and there are mixed up.

For those that have any doubt about Kayla or Paul's integrity when it comes time to safeguard your identities, shouldn't be going into MP's anyways. Why? Because all the reputable places have cameras at the doors and entrances to deter would be rip off artists. I havent heard of one case of any reputable MP using those videos as evidence or even LE for that matter.

If you are not comfortable even reading out "wrong" numbers then its time to move on people.

No, you are not. My problem is that I don't have a drivers license or cell phone. If only they accepted OHIP.

I don't have a problem, because I am single and my hobby is not a secret in my life. But, as I said in my deleted post earlier, I really don't see the problem as there is no bylaw, to my knowledge that I can be charged with as a client of a licensed MP as long as everything is on the "up and up ", let alone, after the fact.

Aside from that, I will not be deterred by a ploy that attempts to prey on fear.

I also trust that the ID will be in good hands.

I'm wondering if it is possible to get comments from other MP owners as well to see how this affects them.

The long and short of it is that I will not show real ID, and I don't want to waste my time driving, or the MPA's booking if it's not going to happen.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

I wasn't pleased when asked for my licence #, but let's face it we hobbyists aren't exactly risk adverse, needless to say, I went for my session anyway.

So what's the risk? LE will now have an exhaustive witness list should they ever prosecute under the municipal by-laws or the criminal code. It used to be that LE-client witness lists were restricted to the 3 or 4 "found ins" during the raid. Now there'll be a list of hundreds. It makes it easier for LE to gather evidence against the spa regarding by-law and criminal violations. Sorry Kayla, LE can get their hands on that list easily and HFH can't do shit about it.

I'm not really concerned about myself as hobbyist, I can take care of myself, but it seems that HFH could be setting itself up for a fall.

Kayla, if your first post in this thread is an actual quote from the by-law, I'm not convinced that you're going to be allowed to take down just DL #'s. The way I read it, the by-law requires you to take down an accurate name and address and to verify by using a DL. Has by-law actually told you that DL #'s alone are sufficient. If not, I've gpt a big concern that when they come to check your records next and see that it's only DL #'s (which I'm sure they realize aren't likely to be accurate) they're going to insist that you start collecting names and may get a warrant forcing you to turn over the DL #s already collected so they can see how accurate your records are. I'm pretty sure that if most of the DL #'s are wrong by-law will tighten the screws again. Once by-law has a means of finding out who the customers are (by warrant or otherwise) you can bet that customers will get summonses to appear in court and testify against the MP when by-law related charges are laid.

While I have no doubt that Kayla or Paul will do everything to keep the records private, it's just not realistic that to think that they can keep them out of the hands of LE if there are any violations in the MP.

I've been to both IT and HFH many times and will keep going as long as I'm permitted to read them my own DL #. However, if that's what is currently allowed under the by-law (which I hope Kayla can confrim) I'm positive that it won't be much longer before the by-law is amended again, at which point my MP days are over.

Me too has no problem leaving info. In fact the last couple of times I visited HFH I handed over my license to the attendant at check in. That was several months back and I've yet to be contacted by LE or Bylaw, (or the attendant .). Kayla can also have my cell number if she wishes to record it should I ever find myself back within the walls of HFH. (sorry no home phone, I don't have one).

Pool, it's time to learn to drive. No more sessions at HFH 'till you get your license. In the meantime, I'll let you borrow mine. The fee will be *minimal* ... (smile)...

As far as negative reviews being removed.. No.. I would never ask for that.. I've learnt and helped the girls learn from negative reviews.. that's how anyone would learn. But I did see reviews on this board by some who have even suggested that FS is available at HFH which is pure bullshit and I freaked when I heard that. I prefer editing the review.. taking out what shouldn't be there in the direction of discretion.. not removing a guy telling his story of having a bad time. I believe in the review process .. always have.
